As a speaker, author, entertainer, and Vision Board Program creator, I have enjoyed a 30+ year career (and Personal Development journey) of adventures, including a wildly-successful decade in radio, 4 self-published books, 7 years of stand-up comedy, 14 years as a national-level radio-comedy writer and producer, 18+ years as a keynote speaker, creation of the Vision Board Mastery learning program...and building 2 recording studios (where I love to 'make things sound cool').
What did it take for Steve to become known as The Motivational Firewood® Guy and creator of the Vision Board Mastery learning program?
Several radio stations, 2.5 perfectly-packed parachutes, a tall building…and an afternoon spent hitting golf balls in a thunderstorm.
Having adopted the motto “that which doesn’t kill me gives me a great story to share on-stage” over the past two decades (since blowing up his radio career), Steve has repeatedly expanded his boundaries to stretch himself in every direction possible…so that he can share, as authentically as possible, what life has taught him.
Just prior to his first solo skydive, he was told by the instructors: “You’ll know what to do.” (which he did, despite several critical errors which popped up).
Moments before he leapt off the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas, he developed a 3-step process for overcoming fear. And when he spent an hour in a thunderstorm, under power lines, hitting golf balls…and daring the lightning to strike him?
It actually became ‘the moment’ which launched his speaking and stand-up comedy careers.
